It’s one of those things I’ve been going to do for a long time. Find an image each day during my travels and post it on the internet for all to enjoy or criticise or comment on or whatever. I haven’t set myself any rules about subject matter or anything, it’s all totally random which will be part of the fun and very interesting to see what direction my photography heads off in.
Also I now have a website that is quick and simple to do this project on.
I don’t know really. I guess if I can access the internet I can carry on as usual, if I can’t I suppose I will have homework when I get back to my workshop. An image will still be made but may not be posted every day if it isn’t geographically possible.
And I guess if I’m not in Kaikoura the images won’t technically be Kaikoura Kwik Pics, they’ll just be Kwik Pics!
No, not for me thanks, the copyright policy of some of these sites is a bit dodgy for me. If all my images are hosted on my site and visitors are using the site under the Terms Of Use it’s obvious any asphoto images floating around the internet have been flogged from here, don’t get caught doing that, cause the friend of a friend is a …..
Not sure where this came from either! It started out as Quick Pic, the idea being that it is part of my day and quick to do but the name wasn’t quirky enough. Kaikoura and Kwik seemed to work together so there we go.

We’re about good to go live with this site rebuild I reckon, still a few tweaks to do but the nuts and bolts are in the right places.
This is how we plan to run asphoto.co.nz from now;
All proof galleries will be private. When your gallery is ready it will be protected with the password you requested or one we supply, you will be sent a direct link to the gallery or you can enter the gallery through the main site proofing entry. You supply the password to the people who you want to view the gallery.
These will be avaliable in the new shop, there is still some work to do here but we have a brand new shop facility with a powerful search engine and self service features. We plan to provide the best images of everything Kaikoura as prints and image files. Image files can be downloaded as soon as payment is cleared for your instant gratification and project use.
Event images will now be put in the new shop for public viewing and purchase.
