Goin hard at Kaikoura
June 1st, 2008 | by Andrew |I’ve always enjoyed car racing, have never done it except around the cow paddocks in the ute, but the sounds, smells and excitement of racing can make people come for miles.
I’ve photographed the Kaikoura Queens birthday speedway for a year or two now and it’s a project I look forward to, it’s always exciting and always fun.
I decided to do a driver profile this year, follow the weekend racing with one of the drivers, it didn’t quite turn out how he planned but it was still all good fun.
We even had a couple of TV celebs rock up to join the fun and enjoy the food!
